The word “ISIS” is an acronym for “Image and Scanner Interface Specification.” ISIS is an image import driver that offers a method for capturing images directly into software applications. ISIS has found widespread acceptance in the Enterprise Document/Content Management (EDM/ECM) world, where it is supported by all major applications.
